Dojo introduction
We are Japan Karate Association Naha Branch Gushiken Karate Club.
We practice through training of the trinity of basic techniques, kata, and kumite.
Dōjō precepts:
- Strive for the perfection of character
- Stay on the paths of truth
- Cultivate the spirit of perseverance
- Honor the principles of courtesy
- Control brute courage
With the above precepts in mind, we devote ourselves every day.

We would like to introduce the achievements of Master Funakoshi Gichin of Okinawa who, has he traveled to mainland Japan, supported the introduction of karate from Japan to the world. He changed the writing from karate (Chinese hands) to karate (empty hands). He established Shotokan-ryu. |
