Dojo introduction
Disciples learn the basic movements through repetitive practice of kata of the Okinawa karate that were passed down from Master Kyan Chōtoku to Nakazato Joen (Ananku, Wanshu, Sesan, Passai, Gojushiho, Chinto, Kusanku, Bōjutsu/Tokumine no kon) and kata of kobujutsu in the All Okinawa Kobudō Federation's official dōjō (Choun no kon, Shushi no kon, Tsuken no kon, Sakugawa no kon, Soeishi no kon, Nicho sai, Sancho sai, Shinbaru no sai, Tonfa I, Tonfa II, eku, kama, etc.), and they further learn the prearranged kumite, bunkai (application) of kata and application of techniques.
