Dojo introduction
The meaning behind the name of the dōjō is to cultivate the strength in life and build a good character through the training of traditional Okinawa karate (refer to the dōjō precepts on the website). I learned under the guidance of Master Miyazato Eiichi, a leading disciple of Master Miyagi Chōjun, the founder of Gōjū-ryū, and I opened the dōjō in 2010 after the death of Master Miyazato. The dōjō is located in a residential area near the monorail Oroku Station. I desire to practice martial arts for the lifetime. I feel the sense of obligation to pass down karate, which is a traditional culture of Okinawa, to the younger generation, so I train mind and body with my disciples.
