We possess more than 50 kata of Shurite and Tomarite, including kata of Shōrin-ryū that were passed down from Chibana Chōshin, Shimabukuro Tarō, Uema Jōki, and Ishikawa Seitoku to Uema Yasuhiro. Focusing on basic training, we flexibly incorporate application of kata (bunkai), prearranged kumite, free kumite, and sport karate to pursue the way of karate depending on purposes. We accept a wide range of age groups from youth to seniors (65 years old and over), and we enjoy practicing while interacting with each other.
